Nick Fradiani Sr. is an accomplished songwriter, singer and recording artist.

Nick's musical journey began when he saw the Beatles perform on the Ed Sullivan Show. He then knew music and performing would be his life's passion. Given a guitar at the age of 8, he began playing Beatle songs and other popular music. At 13, Nick and his band won 1st place in an Exchange Club talent show and has been performing professionally ever since. When he began playing piano, it inspired him to write and compose his own music. Playing in local rock bands as a lead guitarist and vocalist, his musical taste started to branch out. By the late 1970's, Nick started his first R & B, jazz, and contemporary band called Rhapsody. He played bass and was the lead vocalist. Rhapsody performed at all major venues around the country. After landing a steady engagement at Harrah's in Atlantic City, Nick began to record in a studio with his band. Their first album was released in 1981.

The lyrics and music for the single "Sunset Beach" were composed and sung by Nick. By the late 1980's, Nick left his band to pursue a solo career. He performed as a piano player, singer and keyboardist playing cruise ships and major hotels. He landed back in Atlantic City at Resorts International and began performing internationally with stints in Montreal, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Acapulco and Aruba. By the early nineties, Nick recorded his first solo album "Living on the Edge of Time". The first single, "Midnight Lady", is still played today overseas in Paris and Italy. Nick released another CD titled "Aruba Nights".

Today Nick is performing statewide, writing new songs and recording. His popularity has surged while he plays to audiences of all ages. His passion for music was passed down to his son Nick Fradiani Jr., who has also been performing as a singer, guitarist and a songwriter too. Nick Jr. recently won the coveted award of the 2015 American Idol. Nick resides in Guilford, CT
